Regulation 14 (Reg 14) – First Public Consultation

This stage in planning language/speak is known as ‘Regulation 14 pre-submission consultation’ (Reg 14). This is where we ask for your views and comments, good and not so good on the draft plan so that necessary changes can be made to it before we submit the revised/amended plan to the Borough of Brent and Borough of Camden for independent examination.
The consultation will run for a minimum of six weeks, the start date of which will be mentioned on our website, accompanied by a publicity campaign so that the people who reside, work, study, run a business, or volunteer in the Kilburn Neighbourhood Plan area know where they can view or download the draft Neighbourhood Development Plan. The comments on the plan can be made via our survey which will be widely distributed via our subscribers list, our website, and from other publicity media. The survey must be submitted online or in writing and by the consultation deadline date. Environment Agency, Natural England and Historic England were some of the regulatory (statutory) bodies that we consulted as well.

The KNP team will also be organising drop-in sessions in various locations that is advertised on our Consultation boundary map. You can come along to see the plan, ask any questions you may have and find out more about our Vision and Objectives for Kilburn. Those who may not be able to attend in person can request a zoom meeting which can be arranged depending on the team’s availability.

The published plan can be viewed or downloaded from our website www.kilburnforum.london, and on our social media channels:

The Neighbourhood Plan Vision and Objectives are also advertised on leaflets and made available in the above mentioned libraries and at our consultation events. Kilburn High Road business owners and staff are invited for a drop-in event at the KILN on Nov20th 2023, 3.00pm to 5.30pm.
